  • Major Domain Migration & Platform Upgrade:
  • Officially shifted primary domain from `tools.sheikhtabarak.me` to `app.sheikhtabarak.me`.
  • Rebranding to "App by Muhammad Tabarak":
  • Updated global site title templates, OpenGraph tags, web app manifest (`manifest.json`), `llms.txt`, and footer branding across the platform.
  • Legal Compliance Pages:
  • Privacy Policy (`/privacy`): Added a dedicated Privacy Policy page detailing client-side tool storage, Google OAuth processing, and zero-data-selling assurances.
  • Terms of Service (`/terms`): Added Terms of Service page outlining terms of access, acceptable use, intellectual property, and service disclaimers.
  • Integrated `/privacy` and `/terms` into `Footer.js` and `sitemap.xml`.
  • 404 Page Redesign (`/_not-found`):
  • Re-architected custom 404 page to include site `Header` and `Footer`, styled matching the platform design system, with compact single-viewport scrolling and a direct link to the author's portfolio.
  • Font & Asset Performance Optimization:
  • Converted `BricolageGrotesque` font to `.woff2` format, reducing font payload size by 50% and improving FCP/LCP load speeds.
  • Generated missing `favicon-16x16.png` and `favicon-32x32.png` files in `public/` to fix 404 image errors.
  • GEO & AI Search Discovery:

Fixes & Refinements

  • Content Security Policy (CSP):
  • Updated CSP headers in `next.config.mjs` to allow localhost API endpoints (`http://localhost:*`, `http://127.0.0.1:*`) and WebSockets (`ws://*`, `wss://*`).
  • Google OAuth Stability:
  • Resolved `Missing required parameter client_id` runtime exception by providing a fallback client ID string in `layout.js` when `NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID` is not defined.
  • Icon Updates:
  • Updated Olivabase logo icon to `https://www.olivabase.com/favicon.ico` across client data, server data, and Next.js remote patterns.

Removals & Cleanup

  • Removed legacy uncompressed `.ttf` font files (`BricolageGrotesque...ttf`).
  • Removed unused polyfills by modernizing `browserslist` targets in `package.json`.
  • Cleaned up unneeded `.well-known/mta-sts.txt` email transport policy files and temporary build scripts.
